Representing Small Business:
Our attorneys have experience assisting start-up business owners organize new corporations and limited liability companies (LLCs) as well as stock and membership transfers of closely held business, and winding down. We also have successfully closed numerous mergers and acquisitions for small businesses in Edgecombe and surrounding counties. We regularly represent businesses in purchasing and selling real estate or closings of financial transactions, such as operating lines of credit and new building construction.

Representing Municipalities:
Our firm has represented the Town of Tarboro since 2014 through partner Chad Hinton, and previously represented Edgecombe County from 1945-2018 through our current and former partners Michael Peters, Mahlon DeLoatch and Herbert Taylor. In addition, our firm serves as attorneys for the Redevelopment Commission of the Town of Tarboro and has completed limited retained work for various municipalities in the Edgecombe County area.
